About a week ago my friend showed me this article about a new bike sharing service for students at Penn State. The project is being sponsored by a company called B-cycle and how it works is very similar to the CarShare System in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Chicago and a number of other large cities around the country. Students would be able to swipe there id, borrow a bike when they need it and then return it when they are done. Perfect for those who don't own a bike and just want take a ride on those nice fall/spring days. What an awesome idea! The more bikes on the road the merrier!
