Although I am not usually one for FGFS, there are definitely a few videos here and there that I can really get into.  "I Would Buy One" from John over at Prolly Is Not Probably is definitely one of those edits.  The soundtrack is GREAT (Rick Ross sucks but he makes it work and Black Sabbath well, they just rage) and there is such a perfect mix of 20", 26" and 29" wheeled bikes that its hard not to stay interested.  With a solid foundation in photography I would say his videography skills are definitely getting there (love the skid shot in the beginning).  By the way Tony Fast SHREDS.

"I don't own a P-Fix but I think it's a very good bicycle.  I would buy one if I had the money and jump into the river all the days; P-Fix by specialized" epic.

Lacoste

French clothing company Lacoste jumps on the fixed gear bandwagon in Japan with their newest line L!VE. The promotional video features various extreme sports athletes (Skateboarding, BMX, Break Dancing AND Fixed Gear Riding) performing in front of a projector. Pretty soon there is going to be a Luis Vuitton track bike. Get real.

The Planet hops crew has been killing it lately. I definitely appreciate their in your face camera angles and hard hitting soundtracks. Pretty much the only FGFS I have been stoked on recently. Between Planet Hops and Seoul's Got Soul Korea has been doing work in the fixed gear world. Keep up the good work boys!

Ever since fixed gear freestyle took over, I am constantly yearning for good old fashion tricks on a track bike.  What ever happened to gnarly track stands, unbelievable skid variations, wheelies and just riding backwards!  Don't get me wrong I think fixed gear freestyle is interesting and definitely progressing but it's just not the same.

I'm not usually a fan of Fixed Gear Freestyle videos.  Honestly, most of the "edits" that have come out recently are an utter bore. Mediocre camera angles and the same old tricks. Sometimes the molasses like progression of fixed gear freestyle is just too much. This video however held my interest throughout. I love the DMX soundtrack and every trick is right there in your face (The hop to flat at 0:40 is gnarly).  Overall it's an interesting video with cool camera angles and superb editing.  I haven't heard much about the Planet Hops guys but I'm definitely going to keep an eye on them.

I spotted this video of new JAN rider, 84, on Zlog and it seriously blew my mind. This is definitely the direction fixed gear freestyle should be going; it's just SO smooth! I love how much the Keo style has progressed. Speaking of Keo I haven't seen much from him lately...

Not only is this one of the ugliest frames I have ever seen but I can see almost no practical use for two crossing top tubes. If strength was the issue I think there are a number of other ways to go about improvement. I hope the "Quad Fixed Prototype" stays that way...as a prototype. I think the boys over at SE got a little too excited after Oakley agreed to do a collab.

Getting big over a nice set AND a gnarly tailwhip. Fixed gear freestyle is getting closer and closer to BMX everyday (although it still has a long way to go).

A Little of Both Worlds

Although there isn't too much out of the ordinary in this video, I love that they incorporated a little bit of both worlds. Some gnarly hill bombing along with some freestyle dirt. Although I'm not much of a freestyler myself I love watching guys get real air on a fixed gear bike (It's happening more and more often). When the dude jumps over the person laying on the ground I was pretty stoked. Anyway just thought I would re-post because it's a good combination that I thoroughly enjoyed.

For me, this video made fixed gear freestyle at least ten times more impressive. There is finally some bmx flow starting to show up in fg riding. The 180 to 360 keo off the box is just so ridiculous, love the music too.

Although I am not an overly enthusiastic fan of fixed gear freestyle, this dude is unbelievable! His style is so smooth and fast I just couldn't peel myself away from the screen!

Trickin'

Although I was less than impressed with this video at first, just some bmx guys riding mini single-speeds/fixed, I found one specific trick to be very interesting. The trick is around 1:18. The dude wedges his foot in between the seat tube and top tube and then some how pulls into a manual(wheelie). CRAZY

There are a few other really cool tricks too, the guy on the pink bike is dirty
